If you’re tossing and turning late at night with visions of raw turkey legs and jiggly pies dancing through your head, fret no more, sugarplum.

Here are all the phone numbers and websites you need to handle any Thanksgiving menu-related emergency. And don’t worry about embarrassment, your worst nightmare is their routine Thursday morning.  - Christy Strawser

USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline: 888-674-6854, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays year-round; 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Thanksgiving Day; The hotline has answered over 2 million calls as part of USDA’s consumer food safety education efforts. The hotline is one of the rare services where a live person answers callers questions one-on-one.

Butterball Turkey Talk Line: 800-288-8372. 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday; 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays Nov. 26-Dec. 23, plus the weekend before Christmas; 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 24-25. No question is too tough for this turkey hotline. Want to know what time to put in the bird so it’s ready exactly at halftime? They’re the folks to ask.

Honeysuckle White Turkey Line: 800-810-6325 is operated 24 hours a day during the holidays with recorded messages on a variety of topics. The website has tips, recipes, FAQs, and more.

Jennie-O Turkey Hotline: 800-887-5397, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays; The Website has recipes, tips and FAQs.

Reynolds Turkey Tips Hotline: 800-745-4000; This line is open 24 hours daily during the holidays. It offers recorded messages on thawing and preparing turkey.

National Turkey Federation: Check this site for recipes, FAQs, and chef demonstrations.

Fleischmann’s Yeast Baker’s Help Line: 800-777-4959; One-stop shopping for answers to questions about breads and rolls.

General Mills’ Betty Crocker Help Line: 888-275-2388; Call 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays so Betty can help “Save Thanksgiving One Call At A Time.” Click on the website to get directed to the Facebook page and Twitter feeds, where questions will also be answered.

Crisco Pie Hotline: 877-367-7438. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays year-round; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 15-24 and Dec. 13-23; The Crisco Pie Hotline answers the most common questions about baking pies for novice bakers as well as offering tips that will benefit the most seasoned baker.

Libby Consumer Hotline: 800-854-0374, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays year-round; Pumpkin pie falling flat? This is your go-to for tips and advice, plus recipes using canned pumpkin.

Health/Injury Issues:  If there’s an emergency, always dial 9-1-1.  If not, you can reach a Detroit Medical Center (DMC) nurse 24/7 at 1 (888) DMC-2500 or 1 (888) 362-2500.
