MiChild & Healthy Kids Program Insure More Kids During Statewide Campaign

DETROIT (WWJ) – Nearly 1,600 uninsured children were enrolled in the MiChild and Healthy Kids Program during a statewide back-to-back enrollment campaign.

Coalition spokesman Phillip Bergquist says getting these kids enrolled in these programs and gaining access to health insurance is the first step toward getting them healthy.

MiChild and Healthy Kids are the state’s free and low-cost health insurance programs.
