Police Make Arrest In String Of Southfield Robberies

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) – Southfield police are reporting that they’ve made an arrest in connection with a string of break ins at local businesses.

Thirty-nine year-old Scotty Hester, of Oak Park, is charged with six counts of breaking and entering.  When he was arrested earlier this week — police found evidence linked to several of the robberies.

One business – the Town and Country Market on 12 Mile was broken into twice.

Hester also is suspected in a robbery in Oak Park.
