“I should’ve taken one at home this morning,” said Eva on CBSDetroit’s Facebook page. “…it looks like Lake St. Clair moved into my backyard … Most of the streets in my area are flooded and people are still driving like idiots … surprised there have been no serious accidents.”
Following the wet weather, forecasters say some serious snow is coming.
It’ll be windy and cold Tuesday, with rain mixing with and changing to wet snow before Wednesday morning. Total snow accumulation is expected to be 1-3 inches in and around most of Metro Detroit; 3-6 inches in the outlying northern and western suburbs. A low of 33 is expected.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. Wednesday.
