Hoke Voted Big Ten Coach Of The Year
Brady Hoke has been named the Hayes-Schembechler Coach of the Year, as voted on by the conference's coaches. Hoke also takes home the Dave McClain Coach of the Year, as picked by the media.
This is the first year for the Hayes-Schembechler Coach of the Year honor, which pays tribute to former Ohio State head coach Woody Hayes and former Michigan coach Bo Schembechler.
Hoke is the sixth first-year head coach to win the McClain Coach of the Year award, which was named after the former Wisconsin coach.
Hoke led the Wolverines to a 10-2 season and possibly a shot at a BCS game after taking the helm from Rich Rodriguez, who went 7-6 last season.
