Detroit Police Release Image Of Bank Robbery Suspect

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who is wanted for the robbery of a local bank.

Police say the man entered the Chase Bank at 611 Woodward Ave. on December 5. Bank employees told police the man approached the counter and passed a note to the teller, with instructions to give him cash.

The suspect was captured by surveillance video at the counter around 9:40 a.m. and fled in an unknown direction with an unknown amount of U.S. currency.  No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, 47-50 years of age, 5'-9", 170 lbs, medium complexion, with a moustache.
