Charlie Langton: Having Met Him... I Believe Bianca Jones' Father Is Innocent

The public is so quick to judge when a child is missing. The belief by many is that the father of missing 2-year-old Bianca Jones, D'Andre Lane, has something to do with it. After appearing on my radio show on Talk Radio 1270 WXYT, he appeared to be honest, truthful, and deeply concerned about the whereabouts of his daughter.

Oh, and by the way, I don't believe he has any involvement in her disappearance.

It's too easy to judge a person by his past. Just because he has a criminal record, fathered seven children, and was in jail for violating a personal protection order (last weekend), it doesn't make him a child killer.  Listen to the interview I did with him and judge for yourself. It's on my podcast page and linked right here. He was open to me.

He didn't try to sugarcoat anything. And he feels genuinely upset about the loss of his child. I remember when Stephen Grant spoke to the media after he killed his wife and chopped up her body. His demeanor just wasn't believable. Recently, Jerry Sandusky spoke to the media talking about how he likes young children but has not had sex with them and although he has not been convicted...yet... it's hard to believe him.

Maybe it's just a sense. It's hard to judge character but it's essential to judge character when attempting to get to the truth. From my own observations, having interviewed witnesses for well over 25 years in the legal arena, my conclusion is Mr. Lane is credible. If it turns out he's not, then I'm wrong -- but I really don't think so.
