Report: Tigers Sign Octavio Dotel

The Detroit Tigers have reportedly offered relief pitcher Octavio Dotel a one year 3 million dollar deal with an option pending a physical per Cbssports.com Danny Knobler.

The Tigers and Dave Dombrowksi in the Winter Meetings talked about getting short term relief help and it looks like Dotel will be that guy out of the bullpen.

Dotel has a career ERA of 3.74 while playing 13 season in MLB. Dotel spent last year with Toronto and St. Louis who also had offered Dotel a deal.

Knobler also mentioned that Free Agent Joel Zumaya will work out for scouts next week and expects to draw a huge crowd.
