DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Tigers say they won’t be hosting Tigerfest this offseason because of renovations at Comerica Park.

The event has been scheduled in January, and the team says it’s now been postponed until 2013. The Tigers say renovation work at the ballpark is the reason for the cancellation.

The team says it will share more details about enhancements to the ballpark as the 2012 season approaches. The changes will include an upgraded scoreboard in left field.
