Police Investigate Postal Service Manager Attack

PONTIAC (WWJ) – Police in Oakland county are searching for a man who attacked a postal service manager in Pontiac.

WWJ Newsradio 950′s Marie Osborne reports that the Oakland County Sheriff’s office is investigating the attack.

Police found a 54-year-old semi-conscious man Thursday - with severe injuries to his head and face. A metal pipe found nearby was believed to have been used in the attack.

The victim was able to tell police that he went outside to check on a suspicious looking man the postal service.

A $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case has been offered. Crimestoppers offering an additional $1,000 police ask anyone with information to call 1-(800) SPEAK-UP.
