FBI Assisting In Hunt For Bank Robber
BIRMINGHAM (WWJ) - Police in Birmingham have called in the FBI to help in the search for a bank robber who is suspected in a number of hold-ups.
Investigators said the latest robbery happened Tuesday morning at the Flagstar branch on Woodward in Birmingham. No one was hurt.
The robber was seen running from the bank on foot. No vehicle was seen. The suspect is described as a white male 5' 7-5' 8", 160 lbs.. He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans and a brown baseball hat.
Investigators say the same person may also be responsible for bank robberies in Ferndale, Clinton Township and a second heist in Birmingham.
