MCWT Connect-Net Covers Agile Software Development: The Michigan Council of Women in Technology's Connect-Net meeting series will resume Tuesday, Jan. 10 on the topic "Agile for Everyday Life." The meeting will cover the core principles and values of Agile software development methodologies. Veteran software professional Joyce Wiazowski will provide insight on how attendees can become effective and valuable employees by using Agile practices, such as responding to change and focusing on results. Wiazowski holds a Certified Scrum Master certificate by the Scrum Alliance and has been accepted into the pilot program for the PMI's Agile Certified Practitioner. The meeting begins with networking at 5:30 p.m. and the program from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Epitec Group, 24800 Denso Drive, Suite 150, in Southfield. The meeting is free to MCWT members $10 for nonmembers, and $5 for students. Register online at www.mcwt.org.
