U-M Offers $100K Medical Research Prize
ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - The A. Alfred Taubman Medical Research Institute at the University of Michigan has established a new prize designed to quickly move lab discoveries into the patient treatment phase.
The Taubman Prize for Excellence in Translational Medical Science will be awarded each fall during the Institute's annual symposium. Except for researchers at U-M, physician-scientists worldwide are eligible to win the $100,000 prize.
Self-nominations are permitted. The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2012.
