DETROIT (WWJ) – One of Detroit’s own will be on the basketball court at the Palace Monday night.
Harlem Globetrotter Bull Bullard joined the Globetrotters a couple of years ago - he’s a graduate from Southeast High School in Detroit.
“We’ve been to over 120 countries around the world … I’ve been to 40 countries, we have over 130 million fans. This is my fourth year on the team, “ said Bullard.
“We do have 10 amazing rookies this year, we have a 7’8″ guy from London; Paul Sturgis – we call him ‘Tiny’, we have ‘Too Tall Hall’ who is 5’4″ from Baltimore … you guys have to come and check it out,” said Bullard.
Bullard says he’s glad to be back in his hometown for a game, after traveling the world, and is proud of Detroit Mayor Bings efforts to revitalize Detroit.
Game time is 7 p.m. at the Palace in Auburn Hills.
