Van Halen Announces New Tour, Roth To Share Stage

Think you saw everything you could see in 2011? Think again.

Van Halen, one of the most intensely infighting bands around, announced Tuesday they will reunite for a massive 40th anniversary tour in 2012. Roth famously left the band in 1985 and last reunited with them for a tour in 1996.

David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen will share the stage. The 2012 tour is expected to also feature Eddie Van Halen's son with Valerie Bertinelli, Wolfgang Van Halen on bass, and drummer Alex Van Halen.

Since Roth's departure, Sammy Hagar and Gary Cherone took turns as frontman. Tickets will go on sale January 10.
