More Michiganders Staying Put: Texas Tops List Of Destination States

DETROIT (WWJ) - Fewer people are on the move out of Michigan. A new report from Allied Van Lines says Illinois had the most moving vans relocating people away from the state in 2011.

Michigan ranked third on the list of outbound states, down from first a year ago.

The state had a net loss of 900 moves, an improvement over last year's 1149 outbound moves.

And where are most people heading?

For the seventh straight year, Texas was the top destination state, followed by Florida and Colorado.
