Missing Mount Pleasant Man Found Dead

MOUNT PLEASANT (AP) - Police in Mount Pleasant say they've found the body of a missing 46-year-old man in a field.

The police department said in a statement that the man found Tuesday apparently died of natural causes. The name of the person wasn't immediately released, pending notification of family members.

An autopsy was planned.

Police had been looking for the Mount Pleasant man after he was reported missing Sunday.
