In the accomplishment business, they call it stacking achievements.

And Michigan State’s 33-30 triple overtime victory in the Outback Bowl against Georgia Monday was an added layer.

A bowl win had been a noticeable piece missing from the Spartans’ collective resume since Mark Dantono became head coach beginning with the 2007 season.

And the manner in which MSU won Monday only made the victory more satisfying.
