JMA Services Picks Online Tech For Mobile App Hosting

ANN ARBOR -- Clinton Township-based JMA Services, a provider of communication services with borrowers on behalf of lenders, has selected Ann Arbor-based Online Tech Inc.'s servers to host its new mobile application.

JMA Services recently partnered with Team Collaboration Software to develop a new software application for several of their large financial institution clients. The application is a nationwide portal of field calls and property inspections.

The app is hosted in Online Tech's Sarbanes Oxley Act compliant data centers on managed dedicated servers and interfaces with an inspection application, handheld devices, iPhone and Android.

JMA Services realized several efficiencies by transitioning to Online Tech's managed dedicated servers. They were also able to leverage Online Tech's full management of operating system updates, patches, and hardware maintenance so they will not have to invest in additional IT personnel. JMA has moved their IT infrastructure to Online Tech's premium Dell servers to eliminate unnecessary computer equipment.

JMA Services' IT infrastructure is regularly audited due to the fact that their clients are primarily large financial institutions. As such, their clients required JMA Services to partner with a SOX compliant data center.  With Online Tech, JMA Services benefits from a SAS 70 Midwest data center that follows best practices to comply with SOX web hosting standards and annual, independent SSAE 16 and SOC 2 & 3 audits to verify compliance.
