WINTER WEATHER ALERT: SNOWFALL TOTALS  | TRAFFIC | LIVE RADAR| SCHOOL CLOSINGS
By Charlie Langton
Charlie Langton spoke with State Sen. Rick Jones about whether or not sexism is a problem in the Michigan state legislature.

Jones discussed his verbal battle with Lansing lobbyist Kelly Rossman-McKinney, who called him a loser.

He responded that “like a prostitute, she takes money from any client that will hire her.” In response to that, Michigan Senate Minority Leader Gretchen Whitmer wrote an op-ed claiming that there is blatant sexism in Lansing and that Jones’ comment about Rossman-McKinney is just one example of it.

In response to that, former Michigan Republican Party Executive Director Greg McNeilly tweeted Monday that Senate Minority Leader Gretchen Whitmer is a government hooker.

What does Jones have to say about all this? And what does Jones think about what’s coming up in 2012 the state legislature? Listen to the interview here:
