Auto Show Charity Preview: Dressed To Impress

DETROIT (WWJ) - The who's who of Metro Detroit will gather at Cobo Center Friday evening for what has been deemed one of the most exclusive, high profile events in the nation -- The North American International Auto Show Charity Preview.

And you can be sure that those who attend will want to look their best. Hairdresser Katrina Malata with Luigi Bruni salon in Birmingham said free and flowing hair is out and she feels a more classic style is being revived.

"I want to get into very beautiful, classic do's and bring the glamour back to Detroit," Malata said.

And as for the guys, Malata says they're going for a more sleek and polished look, even using a little color to camouflage their gray.

According to Malata, the average hair style cost starts around $65 and goes up based on how extensive the customer wants to be.

The Charity Preview kicks off Friday evening at 6 p.m. Tickets are still available for purchase at www.naias.com.
