AIM Computer Freezes Maintenance Rates For 11th Straight Year

FRASER -- AIM Computer Solutions, Inc. announced that for the 11th year in a row, software maintenance rates will not increase.

Due to recent economic conditions and the challenges in the automotive industry AIM has chosen to hold their software maintenance rates at the current level.

"Our ability to maintain our maintenance at a fixed rate is based on our automotive supplier specific customer base, which is both focused and growing," says Jerry Czernel, vice president of operations.  "We are happy to be able to assist our base as the industry begins to show signs of prosperity again."

The AIM customer base consists only of one customer type: the production part automotive supplier.

In addition to holding maintenance rates level, several features have been added to the AIM Vision ERP solution for suppliers over the last few years.

"As the margins in our niche market get tighter, we have had to provide additional early warning features to insure timely shipments and supply chain communications," Czernel said. "Our base of suppliers has responded well to our additions, which are based on ideas that have been generated in AIM user group meetings and customers' requests.  We are fortunate to have such an energetic and proactive group of customers."

AIM is the industry leader for a complete ERP software solution tailored to the small to medium sized repetitive manufacturers with a focus on automotive suppliers.  AIM Vision provides a single source for automotive EDI integration into production scheduling complete with demand smoothing to accommodate work schedules, and lean manufacturing and supply chain management. Other capabilities include outside processing, multiple level lot control, in line vehicle sequencing and release accounting.
