ANN ARBOR (AP) -Michigan and Michigan State have always been rivals, but seldom has there been a bigger contrast between the two teams than right now.

The Wolverines are patient on offense, content to spread the floor and look for outside shots or an occasional cut to the basket. The Spartans, as always, rely on defense and especially rebounding.

Both approaches are working just fine this season, and they'll be on display when the teams play Tuesday night in Ann Arbor.
