Troy City Council Approves Revised Plan For Transit Center

TROY (WWJ)  - It may have taken a few times but Tuesday night, they met, they voted, and it was approved.

Troy City Council met Tuesday evening to consider what they call a 'revised' plan for a city transit center.  And after they discussed it, they voted to approve it.

The new version will be about two-million dollars cheaper than the original plan.

Last month, council rejected an $8.4-million, federally-funded plan. City Council finally approved a $6.2-million dollar project.
