Forecast: Snow Overnight, Slick AM Commute

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - A brisk winter night bringing a fresh coating of snow could make for a slippery drive to work in the morning.

WWJ-TV Chief Meteorologist Jim Madaus says that even with the with the little bit of snow we are expecting, it could be a slow-go Thursday morning. "It looks like around an inch of snow will fall overnight into Thursday morning, and there will be some slippery spots," he said.

The winds will be gusty overnight (Lo 25). Madaus said the winds will be coming from the south at 15 to 25 mph and wind chill at the bus stop Thursday morning will make it feel like a blistering 12 degrees (Hi 27/Lo 11).
