LIVESTREAM: Detroit Tigers Winter Caravan Stops In Birmingham At 3:40 P.M.

DETROIT - It may be winter, but the Tigers aren't hibernating.

The Detroit Tigers are giving metro Detroiters a sneak peek of warmer, better times with the 2012 Winter Caravan, a two-day roster of fun that includes appearances in Detroit and around the state of Michigan.

Watch a livestream of the 3-5 p.m. Thursday Winter Caravan stop at the Palladium 12 in Birmingham here.

Tigers President, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager David Dombrowski, Vice President/Assistant General Manager Al Avila, Manager Jim Leyland, coaches and players including Alex Avila, Miguel Cabrera, Brandon Inge, Jose Valverde and Justin Verlander, broadcasters and Detroit's favorite mascot PAWS are all joining the caravan.

The Birmingham stop will feature a roundtable discussion, Q&A with fans, a Tigers "Jeopardy" game, and more.

"Coming off the AL Central Division Championship, and the exciting season it was, we're thrilled to get baseball at the top of our minds again with the Winter Caravan," said Elaine Lewis, Vice President of Community and Public Affairs. "We've identified new locations and there are more public stops. What is most impressive is how nearly the entire 40-man roster of players and our coaching staff are set to return to Detroit in the middle of winter, embrace the caravan, and engage the fans."
