Viper Networks Gets LED Manufacturing Contract

TROY -- Viper Networks Inc. (Pink Sheets: VPER), an LED manufacturer with a global presence and offices in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Sri Lanka, said Thursday that it is currently involved in talks on a manufacturing and supply agreement with Jupiter, Fla.-based LEDs America Inc.

Viper Networks said that under the expected terms of any agreement, it will exclusively manufacture and package the products for LEDs America and deliver the products as required by purchase orders to certain regions or countries specified by LEDs America.

As a U.S. based public company, Viper Networks intends to establish  manufacturing in the continental United States and expects to announce the location shortly after finalizing the manufacturing and supply agreement.

Viper said it will be expected to cooperate with LEDs America to identify components and sources of supply for components and parts, and to offer suggestions regarding the design and configuration of products and of new products under development.

Terms of any forthcoming agreement are expected to include that Viper will not sell, market, offer, manufacture, produce, or otherwise make or distribute, any lamps, ballasts, light fixtures, LEDs or any other products or accessories that are otherwise competitive with LEDs America's products.

Viper said the agreement would last for five years, with optional five-year renewals.

LED America Inc.'s products are marketed under the brand name LED-O.
