DETROIT– Starting center LaMarcus Lowe scored a career-high 14 points and sixth man Eli Holman added 15 points and 12 rebounds as host Detroit defeated Loyola 67-52 Wednesday night at Calihan Hall in Horizon League play. The duo combined to 12-for-16 from the floor and amassed five blocks to carry the Titans to their fifth win in their last seven games.
Four Detroit (11-11, 5-5 HL) players were in double figures as Ray McCallum chipped-in 13 and Jason Calliste added 12. Joe Crisman led all scorers with 16 points for Loyola (5-15, 0-10).
Detroit will host Illinois-Chicago Friday night. Tip time with UIC is slated for 7:00 p.m. on the Horizon League Network.
