Detroit Pistons Roster Report 2-1-12

–C Greg Monroe had his fifth straight double-double against New York Tuesday with 13 points and 12 rebounds. That’s a career-high streak but Monroe also committed a career-high six turnovers. He is dealing with increased double-teams and collapsing defenses, since the Pistons don’t have a lot of scoring options and top three-point shooter Ben Gordon is out with a sore shoulder.

–G Brandon Knight isn’t handling the heavy workload and pressure of being the starting point guard well. During the last three games, Knight is averaging 6.0 points and 3.0 turnovers while shooting seven of 29 from the field. Knight’s minutes will be reduced whenever Gordon and Will Bynum get back in action.
