–C Greg Monroe saw his double-double streak end at five in New Jersey Wednesday but he still put up big numbers. Monroe scored 21 points and had eight rebounds in the loss. He also made three steals, giving him 16 consecutive games with at least one takeaway, and a block. That was his first blocked shot in five games.

–G Brandon Knight was surprisingly energetic during the third game in three nights. The starting rookie point guard had 15 points and four assists with just one turnover in 43 minutes. He had averaged 6.0 points and 3.0 turnovers during the first three games of the road trip. The one area where he showed tired legs was the 3-point line, where he went 1-of-8.
