Behind The Scenes At Puppet Art

DETROIT (WWJ) - If you're a little strung out after a long week, consider taking in a puppet show. That's right -- a puppet show.

WWJ's Kathryn Larson visited the unique play house on Grand River in Downtown Detroit, where costumes are bigger than life and wooden little people have more than wooden personalities.

Each month the 15 year professional company "Puppet Art" puts on a new performance and each and every Saturday they open the theater to the public.

Coming up in February, Puppet Art will be performing "Oh Ananse!" in honor of Black History Month.

Ticket are $5 for children and $10 for adults. For more infomation, visit www.puppetart.org.
