Gentz Gets Lawyer In Jane Bashara Murder Case
GROSSE POINTE PARK (WWJ) - Attorney Susan Reed is now the court-appointed lawyer for Joseph Gentz, who told Grosse Pointe Park investigators he was paid to kill Jane Bashara.
Gentz was released by Grosse Pointe Park police Friday afternoon without charges after spending three days in custody. Reed would tell WWJ Newsradio 950 only that she was appointed to represent Gentz and had no further comment about the case.
Jane Bashara, a 56-year-old marketing executive and mother of two, was found strangled in Mercedes-Benz SUV in a Detroit alley.
Her husband Bob Bashara, who is still considered a person of interest in her murder, is maintaining his innocence.
