SE Michigan Man Dies After Snowmobile Crash

BURT TWP. (AP) – Authorities say a snowmobiler from southeast Michigan has died following a crash along a trail in the Upper Peninsula.

WLUC-TV reports the crash happened Tuesday in Alger County’s Burt Township.

The sheriff’s department said 50-year-old Russell E. Barker of Clarkston was killed when his snowmobile left the trail and hit a tree.

The accident was under investigation.

    Cleaning up the gene pool. Lets raise the speed limit and put liquor store along the trails.
