HiredMYWay Offers Jobs, Tax Tips

The fine folks at hiredMYway.com are back with another set of job openings — and tips for cutting your tax bill after landing that perfect position.

This week, Quicken Loans is on the hiredMYway.com Web site wtih 40 openings, while VP Total Solutions has 23 and Impact Management Services has five jobs open.

As usual, hiredMYway.com lets you apply for jobs — or justrefer your friends and earn money. This week’s big bonus jobs include a $3,000 signing and referral bonus for a district sales manager at Shred-it andtechnical sales representative at Keyence, and $2,000 signing and referral bonus for a “sales superstar” at Core Merchant and a sales manager at Hella.

This week’s job tips concerns tax deductions for job search expenses.

If you are searching for a job in your current line of work, you may be eligible for these deductions: * Employment and outplacement services and career counseling * Travel expenses if your primary reason for travel is job searching * Education expenses during unemployment, only if education relates to current line of work   You can’t deduct any of these if you are searching for a job in a new line of work or searching for the first time.
