This qualifies as uncharted territory for the Lions, at least for many years.

Usually, with the Super Bowl complete, the NFL scouting combine approaching and thoughts turning toward the NFL Draft, the Lions are right at the top.

Since 2002, the Lions have selected in the Top 10 of the NFL Draft eight times.

This draft, after going 10-6 and reaching the playoffs for the first time since 1999, the Lions will be picking 23rd overall in the first round.
