Pistons' Start Among Worst In Franchise History

The Pistons' 8-22 record is the second worst in franchise history through 30 games. They were 7-23 during the 1963-64 season and were also 8-22 in 1993-94. They have been 9-21 through 30 games in three seasons (1965-66, 1979-80, 1980-81). Last year, they had a 10-20 record at this point.

Wallace made 3 out of 6 during that stretch and 4-of-8 for the game.

"I hope he won't be mad at me but we'd rather have Ben shoot it than Tayshaun (Prince)," Popovich said. "I think Ben knows that, too, so he won't hate me for that. But he knocked them down, to his credit."
