AUBURN HILLS – The Detroit Pistons announced today that hip-hop artist group Black Sheep will perform during halftime of the Detroit Pistons game versus the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, February 28 at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Black Sheep, the hip-hop duo from Queens, NY made up of Andres “Dres” Titus and William “Mista Lawnge” McLean, is best known for the 1991 hit song “Flavor of the Month” and its first album A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing. The album charted three times on Billboard.
Black Sheep was the first hip-hop act to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno after the departure of long-time host Johnny Carson and, in 2008, their single “The Choice Is Yours” ranked #73 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs. The song was also featured in the commercial for the 2010 Kia Soul.
