–G Jimmy Howard had another strong game, making 40 saves in regulation and overtime and keeping his team in the game with 17 stops in the first period. But, after a 4-3 shootout loss to Vancouver, Howard is 0-1-1 since returning from an eight-game absence with a broken finger.

–C Darren Helm had his best game of the season, scoring a goal and assisting on two others. He played a strong north-south game, skating fast and hard and pressuring the Canucks’ defense. He has helped make the team’s third line very difficult to play against.
