Every year NFL Network’s Rich Eisen runs the 40-yard dash. Not to be outdone, this year 97.1 The Ticket’s Scott “Gator” Anderson decided to run one for himself. Gator had a goal to be sub 7 seconds.  So, could he do it? Karsch and Anderson’s producer Khang put it out on Twitter, asking  how long listeners thought it would take Gator to run the 40. Let’s just say listeners didn’t give Gator too much credit.

Send your 40 yard dash videos to evan.jankens@cbsradio.com to be posted on the website

Tony Ortiz challenged Gator and believed he could run the 40 faster than 6 seconds. Karsch and Anderson took Ortiz up on his offer, and he blew Gator away with a 5.83 time. Watch the video below.

Gator, after further review I do believe you let up before the 40 yard mark, I’m thinking if you don’t do that you should be able to save at least a half second off your time buddy!
