Michigan Sophomore Jon Horford Out For Season

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Michigan sophomore Jon Horford will miss the rest of the season with a right foot injury.

Wolverines coach John Beilein said Friday that Horford would not play again this season.

The 6-foot-10 Horford hasn't played since Dec. 10, but Beilein had previously stopped short of ruling out a return. Horford played in nine games, starting one. He averaged 2.7 points and 10.8 minutes.

The 11th-ranked Wolverines play their final home game of the season Saturday night against Purdue.
