Republican Rick Santorum Talks Election Polls

DETROIT (WWJ) - Rick Santorum rallied for support Monday morning in Livonia at a Chamber of Commerce breakfast. Before working his way toward west Michigan, he talked with Joe Donovan and Roberta Jasina.

"I don't worry about general election match-ups -- since four weeks ago I was in the single digits in the state of Michigan. Again, the only polls that matter are the ones that are right before the election, that might give you some idea within a day or two of the election of what is going to happen," said Santorum on WWJ.

" ... The effort will be on Barack Obama - not on each individual Republican. Once that happens, this race is going to go very well for conservatives," said Santorum.
