SBIR, STTR Introduction Seminars Coming To Detroit, Kalamazoo: Biotechnology Business Consultants will present “SBIR/STTR 101: Introduction and Overview,” March 8 in Detroit and march 14 in Kalamazoo. The federal government mandates that about $2.3 billion a year in federal agency research spending goes to small business, into programs called Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer. BBC’s half-day workshop covers the SBIR/STTR program basics, including: program purpose; eligibility; and sources of funding. It is designed to provide enough information for attendees to determine if they would like to seriously pursue proposal development.
