DETROIT (WWJ) – From pop, to rock, to gospel, the Mosaic singers cover it all in “Singsation.” The concert takes place at 8 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday at the Detroit Film Theatre inside the Detroit Institute of Arts.

WWJ Newsradio 950 spoke with Rick Sperling, founder and CEO of Mosaic Youth Theatre.

“Everyone from Queen to Bon Jovi, to Journey, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Michael and Janet Jackson … It’s just an incredible concert and really, a chance to see these young people who are the most talented singers, really in the Metro Detroit area,at their best,” Sperling said.

The group is made up of kids ages 11 to 18.
