Petoskey Family Missing For Weeks

PETOSKEY (WWJ) - A Petoskey family is worried, as a couple and their small child have been missing for three weeks.

Tim and Sabrina Medsker, ages 33 and 34, and their 4-month-old toddler haven't been seen since mid-February.

WWJ Newsradio 950 spoke with Tim's sister, Kelly Manthei, who said he runs a successful cleaning business and is known for his work ethic.

"One of the big businesses that he cleans for had suggested that they were thinking of going to the police also because it was so out of character - that Tim had never missed a day or called in sick or had ever been late. He just was always reliable," Manthei said.

Manthei said there had been no sign of any family problems either.

"Tim and Sabrina are two peas in a pod. I mean, if there were every two people meant for one another, it's the two of them. They've been married, it will be 15 years this May, and I have never seen them argue or fight about anything," she said.

Police don't think there are any signs of foul play at this point, they believe the family left by choice in their silver 2010 Ford F-150 pickup. Detectives believe the family left in a hurry, leaving food and toiletries behind.

Manthei said they have nothing to go on at this point, as the truck has not been found and no one has heard from the missing couple.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the family is urged to contact the Petoskey Department of Public Safety at (231) 347-2500.
