Madonna Brings World Tour To Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Madonna is bringing her dance party to Detroit after all.

Concert promoter LiveNation announced Monday morning that after immediate one-day sellouts in many of the major markets on Madonna's tour, the highly-anticipated show will now play Detroit's Joe Louis Arena on Thursday, November 8th.

Tickets for the show are $48, $93, $173, and go on sale Monday, March 19th at 10 a.m.

The sell outs of Madonna's tour follow the superstar's historic performance at the Bridgestone Super Bowl Half Time which was the largest viewed halftime performance in the history of the Super Bowl, reaching 47.1 million households.

It was originally thought that the Material Girl was snubbing Motown - as the Detroit stop wasn't listed in her original tour announcement.

Tickets for Madonna in Detroit will be available at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster retail outlets, or the Joe Louis Arena box office.
