Prototyping Pioneer To Speak At Lawrence Tech March 22

SOUTHFIELD -- Prototyping pioneer Ali Siblani, president and CEO of EnvisionTEC, Inc., will speak at the Entrepreneurial Lecture Series on Thursday, March 22, at 5:45 p.m. in Lear Auditorium of the University Technology and Learning Center at Lawrence Technological University, 21000 W. 10 Mile Road, Southfield.

The event is free and open to the public.

A 1990 electrical engineering graduate of Lawrence Tech, Siblani began his career by starting his own company, Sibco Inc., which provided service and materials for the rapid prototyping industry. With his experience and knowledge, he created his own three-dimensional printing machine, which became the first of many patented systems that EnvisionTEC has brought to market.

Siblani has helped to make EnvisionTEC an award-winning, global leader in 3-D printing technology and materials, specializing in high-speed, additive manufacturing machines for the jewelry, medical, toy, and mechanical CAD markets. The company is based in Germany and has an office in Ferndale.

Lawrence Tech's Entrepreneurial Lecture Series is sponsored by WWJ Newsradio 950, the Great Lakes Innovation and Technology Report, the Lawrence Tech chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization, and the Legends Entrepreneurial Alumni Organization.
