The Detroit-Mercy Titans were given a 15th seed in their first appearance in the NCAA tournament since 1999. The Horizon Conference champions will open up against 2nd seeded Kansas ,Friday in Omaha,Nebraska. The Titans have been on fire lately winning 14 of their last 17 games. Although they are 15 point underdogs, some feel the Titans match up with Kansas because they have the height and speed to hold their own.
Monday head coach Ray McCallum joined myself,Sara, and Jamie to talk about the Kansas game and going the the tournament with his son.
