Cleary's Knee To Be Drained Again

Right wing Danny Cleary has had his left knee drained three times over the past month and has received a cortisone shot. But he continues to experience soreness, which is slowing him down. He likely will need surgery after the season. For now, he must manage the pain. He will have it drained again on Sunday in hopes that he'll feel better during the upcoming three-game trip to California.

He picked up a pair of assists and showed some of the skills that make him the organization's top forward prospect, one who could be in the NHL full-time next season.
