Body Found At Lansing Area Park Identified

GRAND LEDGE (AP) – Authorities say a body found in a park in the Lansing area has been identified as a man who was reported missing in December.

The Lansing State Journal reports the body of Clare Horstmanshof of Grand Ledge was found Friday in Lincoln Brick Park. The cause of death wasn’t immediately released.

Horstmanshof was 46 when he was reported missing. More information was expected to be released later by the Eaton County sheriff’s department.
Arrangements were being handled by Peters & Murray Funeral Home in Grand Ledge. Visitation is Thursday and a memorial service was planned for Friday.
