Alleged Case Of Domestic Violence Ends In Road Rage, Death

ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - An alleged case of domestic violence turned to road rage -- and death -- Monday night on Dale Street, near I-696 and Hayes in Roseville.

Police said it started with an argument between a couple. Apparently they jumped into their own cars, sped off, and began yelling and screaming at each other.

During the melee, the woman crashed into a pole and died.

Mark Weiss, who lives nearby, told Fox 2 News police have been at the couple's home in the past due to loud parties:

"Carrying on, noisy parties and the police have been called several times, " Weiss said.

Weiss said he saw the two "arguing with their vehicles" when the woman was forced off the road by the man.

Neighbors say they saw the husband taken away in handcuffs, but police wouldn't say if the man is being held on any charges at this point.
